On behalf of the Indian Drupal Community, we are extremely excited to share that the day is finally here with Drupal India Association (DIA) as a Section 8 company. The organization got incorporated in early June & we had our first meeting & announcement on 19th June 2019 at Drupalcamp Delhi 2019 held at JNU Convention Centre, New Delhi!
As of now, DIA is already backed by QED42, Axelerant, Srijan, Unimity & a few more who we are speaking to. We are working to set up a seed fund of about ₹21 lacs (30K USD).
Vision for DIA:
- Drupal is here to stay, it's only getting bigger with the scale of engagements we are in, our wish is for India to Choose to Lead.
- Set an Example to the rest of the Drupal world Improve the way people look at India: in awe of us!
- Massive influence in the Gulf & ASEAN region Create a shift from being followers to being innovators
- Make Impactful Contributions
